This place is worth stopping by if you want to get something quick to eat on the go for less than $5! The curry fish ball rice roll and pork skin are great. There’s a nice flavor that’s slightly sweet yet savory. The owners are also very friendly and knowledgeable.

Every time I eat here, it takes me back to when I was growing up. They started as a rice roll cart on Grand Street, and they've perfectly preserved that authentic street-cart taste. The steamed rice rolls with curry fish balls are soft, chewy, and perfectly sauced with hot sauce and extra peanut sauce. Grab an iced Hong Kong milk tea to go with it. Highly recommend for a true taste of old-school Chinatown!

The crowds are a total roll of the dice; one minute the shop is completely empty, and the next, a massive wave of people appears out of nowhere! 📈The real dead giveaway of how iconic this place is? The wall of fame. Just looking at the sheer amount of pictures customers take with the owner tells you everything you need to know about how famous this spot is. Delicious and must try place. The owner was super sweet and friendly. Place is very cozy and clean. Def put all the sauces on the rice rolls and fish balls, its like a little flavor explosion. I got plain curry rice rolls and fish balls, and oyster sauce one with all the sauces. The plain curry was really good and comforting to eat in the cold chilly weather. The broth was really good and well seasoned. The oyster sauce one with the sauces was my favorite of the 2, and I'm so glad he recommended all the sauces. It was spicy, peanutty, and just really delicous food.

YUM. The first‑timer order here is absolutely the A1 Fish Curry Noodles with all the sauces. One of the sauces contains peanut, so they’ll check for allergies. The rice noodles are soft, silky, and delicious — you can even order them on their own. Any of the rice bowls are great too; I’m partial to the pork. I also got the small beef tripe, and it was fantastic — it tasted exactly like how my parents make it. They’ve got plenty of fried appetizers (wings, dumplings, buns, rolls), but the real stars of the show are the Hong Kong–style rice noodles and the curry fish. There’s stool seating for just a handful of people, so it’s mostly a grab‑and‑go situation. And like most of Chinatown, cash is king — they do accept credit cards, but they pass the 3.5% fee onto you, so it’s worth bringing cash. They also serve several flavors of bubble tea and HK‑style milk tea, which is such a fun bonus. A cozy, delicious Chinatown spot that nails comfort food and keeps you coming back.
